Privacy Notice

This notice explains how StefDevs handles personal information submitted through stefdevs.com, including the Ops Check flow.

Last updated: 22 June 2026

Operator and contact

StefDevs is the trading name used for this site. For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or Information Officer-style contact, email core@stefdevs.com.

No physical or service address is published in this first version. Legal identity and address details are listed for a later hardening pass.

Information collected

The site may collect contact and interaction information when you email StefDevs, use a mailto link, navigate the site, or submit an Ops Check.

  • Ops Check details: name, company, email, website, workflow context, current drag, what has already been tried, useful outcome, urgency, and appetite where provided.
  • Submission metadata: referrer, UTM values, page path, user agent, timing checks, and spam-prevention signals.
  • Site analytics events: screen views and link selections through Firebase Analytics.
  • Internal processing records: Firestore intake records, Twenty CRM records, and SMTP/email notification content created after accepted Ops Check submissions.

Why it is used

StefDevs uses this information to review and respond to Ops Checks, maintain CRM and admin records, prevent duplicate or spam submissions, operate and secure the site, debug issues, and understand aggregate site usage.

Ops Check submissions are not used for newsletter or promotional mailing unless you separately opt in or another lawful basis applies.

Tools and recipients

Current tools include Firebase App Hosting, Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Google Cloud, Twenty CRM, and an SMTP/email notification provider. These services may process information as operators or service providers needed to run the site and intake workflow.

Some service providers may process information outside South Africa. StefDevs uses these services because they are needed to provide the requested site and Ops Check functionality.

Retention

Ops Check, CRM, and related notification records are normally kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for an active relationship, legal obligation, security issue, dispute, or operational record.

Spam-prevention and duplicate-control records may be kept only as long as needed for the relevant control.

Your rights

Under POPIA, you may ask StefDevs to access, correct, or delete personal information where applicable, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where consent is the basis, or complain to the Information Regulator. Send requests to core@stefdevs.com.

Security

StefDevs uses practical access control, secret handling, server-side validation, and limited-purpose processing to protect submitted information. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
